# Kiosk hardware launch

## Windows kiosk (touch PC)
Create a shortcut that starts Chrome full-screen with silent printing:

    "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --kiosk --kiosk-printing --noerrdialogs --disable-pinch --overscroll-history-navigation=0 --use-fake-ui-for-media-stream https://register.HOSPITAL.com/kiosk

* `--kiosk-printing` prints the token slip to the default printer without a dialog. Set the 80 mm thermal printer as default, paper "80 x 297 mm", margins none.
* `--use-fake-ui-for-media-stream` auto-allows the camera prompt on this dedicated machine.
* Put the shortcut in `shell:startup` and enable Windows Assigned Access if available.

## Android kiosk (tablet / standee)
Use any kiosk-browser app (Fully Kiosk Browser or similar) pointed at `https://register.HOSPITAL.com/kiosk`, with camera permission, screen-always-on, and a USB / Bluetooth thermal printer configured as the Android default print service.

## First run
1. Hospital admin → Kiosks → Add kiosk → note the 6-digit code.
2. On the kiosk, open `/kiosk`, enter the code. The device stays paired (cookie valid 3 years) until removed from the admin panel.

## TV token display
Any smart TV / Android TV stick / mini-PC with Chrome:

    chrome --kiosk --autoplay-policy=no-user-gesture-required https://register.HOSPITAL.com/display

Pair it with a code from Admin → Kiosks (type: Token display). With the autoplay flag the chime and voice work without a tap; otherwise tap "enable sound" once after each restart. Use 1080p landscape.
